EUSA OPENS DUBLIN OFFICE

Client universities now benefit from top Dublin internships

DUBLIN, 20th May, 2002
EUSA, the pan-European educational services company building tailored international programs in Europe for North American client universities, today announced the opening of its new office in Dublin, Ireland.

"Ireland has a long history of cultural exchange, and we hope that through the services we offer, more American college students will come and experience the professional, academic and social benefits of this fine country," said EUSA London's Managing Partner Tony Johnson.

The office will be headed by Rebecca Woolf who brings ten years of private sector and academic experience to her job supporting EUSA's clients throughout Ireland.

"Rebecca provides just the mix of we are looking for," said Johnson. "She knows the business world well and can make the right placements for both internship candidates and the sponsoring institutions. And, she shares EUSA's view that internships must not be just practical training, but a part of the academic experience."

"I'm particularly excited about building relationships between the Irish business community and US academic programs, as well as between Ireland and America, by offering American students top-quality practical professional experiences here," said Woolf.

EUSA helps its clients build programs based on their respective institutional calendars, budgets and academic objectives. EUSA allows flexibility in program design, permitting client institutions to maintain ownership and oversight of their programs while outsourcing the logistics or management of program components to EUSA. EUSA offers clients any combination of its services which include internship/work placement, program management, academic program development, residency placement.

In addition to Dublin, EUSA operates in London, Madrid, and Barcelona. In the United Kingdom and Spain alone, EUSA places more than 700 students each year in high quality, professional practice internships, specialized academic programs and lodging. EUSA was founded with the conviction that the varied and rich cultural environment in the European Union (EU) can open the minds, change the perspectives and build the practical professional skills of its clients' students. The EU will soon embrace 25 countries, 31 languages and unlimited possibilities for living, working and learning.
